Roger’s talk will:

• offer a counter narrative to the widely accepted view that New Zealand’s pandemic response has been expertly managed;
• argue that the Government’s apparent success against the virus has led to it drawing the wrong conclusions about the role government intervention should play in New Zealand’s economic recovery; and
• outline an alternative prescription to drive New Zealand’s economic recovery
