Lessons Learnt from Sport

Alexis stumbled on boxing more than 15 years  ago at the age of 19. It changed her life for ever in every way possible. A woman of many firsts she fought at the 2012 Olympics becoming the first woman to win a bout at the Olympics for New Zealand and she was responsible for the first Olympic Boxing win for NZ in 16 years. She represented New Zealand at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and won Bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She retained a top six world ranking for almost half her career and won Oceania gold silver and bronze medals. She retired while still the NZ Champion after 13 years in the ring  She clocked up 113 fights in 31 different countries.

She has a BSc in Sports Science and is a trained Physiotherapist. She is currently a Mindset and Performance coach and a Motivational Speaker.
