The Heart Savers project has kicked off. RCDA would like to raise funds for 2 defibrillators for our local community. If you would like to make a donation please contact Whitney Smith.
The Pop Up Playground event is on at Ellerslie Racecource this Sunday from 1:30-5pm. Contact Kenneth Winstone if you can help with volunteering on the day, or transport Ronald McDonald House families.
The raised garden beds are looking great and we have a request for a new one at Richmond Road Primary school. to fundraise, Greg Moyle is selling his honey for $10 at RCDTA meetings.
We farewell and thank Lorraine for her wonderful work and achievements as our Treasurer, including bringing us onto the Xero platform. We welcome Byran into this role.
We have created the Peter Crellin Memorial Award which is 4 x $250 donations to the most promising students completing the Auckland Coast Guard courses for the next 3 years.
We are looking for appropriate nominees for our Sunshine Fund. If you know of a member in the community who needs some support from our club, please get in touch with Kenneth Winestone.
Osaka Dojima are coming to visit our club. This means the meeting on 21st March will be a dinner, not a breakfast. Keep an eye out for other events with our sister club - a BBQ and a sailing day.
