To those of you who helped pack the Emergency Kits last Wednesday - a job well done! So well done, in fact, that they didn't need to use the second packing day on the weekend. This is our Rotary community at its best! Thanks to Tim Orr and the International Committee for organising this event.
The Community Services Committee needs your help to support the Women's Refuge Christmas Appeal - please make a donation by contacting Steve Briggs on steven.briggs@vodafone.co.nz He can arrange for your chosen amount of donation to be deduced from your club account. The donations are used to buy gift cards and presents for women and children in need.
The time has come again for our Christmas Pud sales. No extra kilos to worry about - you can purchase a pudding and the City Mission will distribute it to a family in need. A donation form will be passed around each meeting, or you can donate by getting in touch with Emily Sclater on emily.sclater@gmail.com
The Fellowship Committee has reserved a Rotary table at the West End Tennis Cup on the 4th of December. This is a fully catered event priced at $150 per person (there are 6 people at a table). If you, or your friends, are interested please contact Kate Fisher on katefisher.work@gmail.com with questions or bookings by Wednesday this week.
The Silly season is here
Join us for our Downtown Rotary Christmas Party on Wednesday 7th December at 7pm at the Parnell Rose Gardens. Its going to be a fabulous event for $60 which includes great food, wine and company! Its bound to be an entertaining evening with Gareth Juddery as our MC. There are already over 50 of us attending, so don't miss out and register now. Registrations close this Friday.
