This morning we welcomed our newest member, Sarah Pearce, to the club. Sarah has a background in real estate; works with youth and is currently a business coach, mentor and speaker. Take the opportunity to welcome Sarah to the club.
Charity auction for a week in a Queenstown bach; a trip to Nepal and a diamond! Please respond to Suzanne's email to participate. Funds raised are used for Youth Programmes. Keep an eye out for the other charity auctions items available at the Peter Hilary Dinner this Thursday.
Figs, walnuts, honey and eggs! These are a few of the delicious produce items available from Greg Moyle's farm. All proceeds go towards the veggie gardens for schools project. Let Greg know if you want to go to the farm with him on Easter Saturday.
The next Rotary Leadership Institute Seminar (RLI) is at Glendowie College on this weekend. This is for all Rotarians, and especially those taking on a leadership role in the new Rotary year. Please register with Byran Theunisen.
The Heart Savers project has kicked off and we’re well on the way to purchasing a couple of AED machines – thank you to everyone who has donated. We’re just $400 off our target of $3,440 so if you would like to make a donation please contact Whitney Smith.
A friendly reminder, due to the public holidays for Easter and Anzac Day, we will have no meetings on the 18th and 25th April. We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday, the 11th April, and then again on the 2nd May.
RMHC Charity auction
Last year Fletcher Easy Steel ran an art competition to create a structure using only metal to define your concept of space. They were displayed virtually at the Auckland Domain House, before moving them to Wynyard Quarter for the public to vote. The two winning structures have now been crafted and are ready to go to auction – with all proceeds coming to RMHC!
They are going on display at: Art Industry, 37 Papakura Clevedon Rd, Clevedon Village from Thursday 23rd March – Sunday 9th April. Great place to visit for the markets too!
