On Tuesday we heard from Terry Beckett on the quality of freshwater systems, especially NZ rivers and lakes. Terry has been involved in important conservation work for Lake Tarawera, among other initiatives.
Our tennis event has been postponed but we'll be in touch shortly with a new confirmed date. Please let Tony Gardner know if you are keen to play! Its a fun afternoon of tennis and a few social drinks.
The next Rotary Leadership Institute Seminar (RLI) is at Glendowie College on 8th and 9th April. This is for all Rotarians, and especially those taking on a leadership role in the new Rotary year. Please register with Byran Theunisen.
Celebrity Dinner, on 6th April, with special guest Peter Hillary. This is a great fundraiser from our Youth Committee so please support it. Tickets are $85 and there is opportunity to win a diamond in a special raffle. Please read the recent email Jan Malcolm for tickets, or call her on 0274 442 151.
Greg Moyle's bees have been busy and the honey is for sale. Its $10 for a jar. All proceeds go towards the gardens and schools project. Also, please bring in egg cartons for Greg as his chickens are laying.
