Andy Picot and James Billing - 5 minute speakers
Please join us in the bar area (up the escalator on the mezzanine) of the fabulous Grand Millennium, for an after-work or pre-show drink and nibbles.  There are multiple excellent reasons to attend:
  1. a change of scene and chance for more informal mingling (I dare not say fellowship or I'll be treading on toes but it sort of ticks that box)
  2. an easier time of day for some, and hopefully members or prospective members who struggle with 7am meetings can join us early evening 
  3. we are honoured and privileged to have our own Andy Picot present a few slides from his and Lee's recent fascinating tour of WWI battlefields in Europe - in a return to the old "Five Minute Speaker" slot we used to love so much (really means 5-15 mins...)
  4. following that our illustrious President Elect, James Billing, will outline his ambitious, yet also back-to-basics vision and plans for the coming Rotary year to hopefully help build a vibrant and resilient club that will endure for many more years to come, which I know you're going to want to hear
