On Friday 1 November, our club participated in the Ride to End Polio event. Mark Jenkins, Gill Johnston and Byran Theunisen joined up with the Auckland and Waiheke clubs to participate at Britomart station. John Boscawen joined other Rotarians from across Auckland in riding the trains with Simon Bridges. And Pam Deal joined in to ride the trains with Miss New Zealand Lucy Brock.
This was a great opportunity to fundraise and raise awareness for an important cause. It was also a great opportunity to have fun with Rotarians from across Auckland.
