Out on the Farm
This Saturday, Greg Moyle was joined by some farm helpers from the club: Suzanne O'Leary, her daughter Claire and son William, along with President Byran.

The team did some mulching, clearing, watering and picking.

They had a great harvest of avos, quinces and pears. All proceeds from the sale of these will go toward the club's raised gardens in schools program.

Thanks for hosting us Greg. And Suzanne, thanks for getting the family involved as part of their Duke of Ed service.

Thanks Claire and William for your great work in the summer heat.

Mens Shed Part II
Following Mal McLennan's great presentation early in February, we have been lucky enough to receive the photographs which Mal collated.

To recap, Mens Shed was started 25 years ago in Australia, and is now in Canada, the USA and the UK.

It was started 10 years ago in NZ and there are now 120 sheds here with 3,000 members. The Auckland region alone has 11 sheds.

The photos from Mal have been included below - if you would like more information about Mens Shed feel free to get in touch with him.

KiwiHarvest CEO @ Breakfast
We were excited to have KiwiHarvest CEO, Gavin Findlay, join us for breakfast on Tuesday morning. KiwiHarvest is one of the core charitable causes that our club supports, and will be the major recipient of our big annual fundraiser, Battle of the Suits, in August later this year.

Gavin started off by thanking the club for the significant support that we've provided in recent times - both financially and in voluntary service. He also shared his personal story and how he came to join KiwiHarvest. Gavin's presentation also included an overview of current operations and future plans.

We also presented to KiwiHarvest a donation of $5,000 from our club, which had been graciously gifted to the club by our member John Boscawen.

Visiting International Rotarian
At breakfast on Tuesday morning we were joined by visiting Rotarian Ann Ryan Solomon, from the Rotary Club of Sacramento.

Ann is currently based at the University of Auckland so it was awesome that we were able to host her as neighbours across Princes Street.

It was great having Ann join us for breakfast and we hope that she enjoys her time in NZ.
