Well Foundation

Tim’s background is within both the health and philanthropic sector, having worked across research, health services and partnership approaches to improving health outcomes for communities in the UK and in NZ. Tim joined Well Foundation from (Rotary founded) Cure Kids NZ and Cure Kids Fiji, where he headed up a $10m child health research programme including an enhanced national rheumatic heart disease control and prevention programme in Fiji.

As CEO of Well Foundation, Tim works with the community, and with the health system, to help make new and innovative approaches to healthcare possible.

Focus of talk

• Update on several new health infrastructure projects important to the Auckland region and Well Foundation’s involvement
• Tim will be joined by Selena Griffiths, Child Youth and Family Mental Health Services, to provide an overview of a new evidence-based, social-emotional learning curriculum for intermediate school students and how Downtown Rotary are helping making this important programme possible
